2010 JOEY AWARD Nominations Now Open

Early care and education is vital to Westchester County - preparing children for success in school and life, enabling parents to work, supporting and stimulating our regional economy. This is all made possible by the talent, energy and dedication of the men and women who work in the field.   Since 1988, the Council has recognized special individuals and organizations in early care and education through our Joey Awards.   Named for Joseph M. Ungaro, first president of the Council Board of Directors, the Joey Award winners represent the most distinguished and significant contributors to the Westchester child care community.

Please take this opportunity to nominate candidates for the 2010 Joey Awards.    Nominations can be made in four categories:

  • Family/Group Family Child Care Provider
  • Center-Based Child Care Staff/Administrator
  • School-Age Child Care Staff/Administrator
  • General Recognition (corporations, community organizations, etc.)
