When you sign on to work with our Health Care Consultant, we can walk you through the process of creating a Health Care Plan. We offer consistent support and training to ensure you meet best practice standards, protect children, and demonstrate to parents that their children’s health and safety is your top priority.
All child care providers should become approved through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services to administer all medications to children in a child care setting. To do so, you will need to compete a Medication Administration Training (MAT) Course, among other things.
Do you want to help keep kids healthy and get reimbursed for serving nutritious meals and snacks? It’s easy! Family, group family, and informal child care providers are encouraged to sign up for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). It’s simple, worthwhile, and you will get all sorts of other benefits, including free training on topics related to food safety, menu planning, and nutrition.
