The Child Care Council of Westchester champions the healthy development of children, families, and our community by promoting quality early care and education. Reliable child care is a necessity. When children are nurtured in enriching environments, they thrive, and parents gain the peace of mind to focus on their goals, knowing their child is learning, growing, and happy.
The Council envisions a day when every child’s potential is maximized from birth, through access to affordable, high-quality early care and education; when every parent can go to work free from distraction, secure in the knowledge that their children are in a safe, nurturing, learning environment; when Westchester businesses have access to a talented, well-educated homegrown workforce; when elected officials and community leaders universally acknowledge that investing in our children’s future through quality early care is essential, and rewarding in every sense of the word.
