Train with the Child Care Council

The Council's Professional Development Team offers a wide array of trainings to help you expand your skills, improve the quality of care you provide to children, and meet NYS licensing requirements.

WHY TRAIN WITH US?

  1. It’s required: The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations require staff to receive 30 hours of training within two years of a program’s registration period with 15 hours completed in the first six months of employment.d
  2. We’re the best: Our trainers are credentialed – meaning you get credit with OCFS – and our trainings consistently receive rave reviews. Participate in person at the Council, virtually (live), or onsite at your place of business.
  3. It’s good for you and great for kids: Participation in trainings and other professional development efforts supports your career growth and helps you provide better care and education.
